The identities of three people killed in a head-on collision at Highway 395 and Leviathan Mine Road over the weekend likely won't be released for several days.
The Washoe County Medical Examiner will have to rely on dental records to positively identify the people killed in the accident which occurred a few minutes before midnight on Saturday.
The force of the impact turned both vehicles over and resulted in Highway 395's closure for six hours while authorities investigated.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident that killed all three occupants of the vehicles.
