Town to resume work on Chichester cracks, Gilman closed for two days

As part of the Town of Gardnerville's continuing effort to improve the streets within the Chichester area, more work on a crack-fill project will begin today.

Cruz Construction has noticed houses adjacent to the project. They will be working on one side of the street at a time, allowing traffic to pass around them on all streets with the exception of Gilman Ave.

Gilman Ave. will be closed beginning at Highway 395 between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Motorists should use Lampe Dr. and Harvest Ave. for access to Chichester during these times.

The project should be completed by Oct. 1.
