Man arrested in credit card theft

A Gardnerville man was arrested Monday after his girlfriend of three weeks reported that her debit card was missing, as was all the money from her bank account.

Joshua Jeffrey Holmboe, 40, is being held on a count of fraudulent use of a credit card after the victim said she checked her bank account and found it empty after she couldn't find her card.

She told deputies Holmboe liked to gamble, so they checked security video at a Minden casino and she was able to identify him.
