120 years ago

September 16, 1892

Friday afternoon Chris Jonson's two daughters Miranda and Annie were driving to Genoa, when near the Dake place, the horse became frightened and began to run. The shafts fell down and the horse kicked them to slivers. The ladies were thrown out but not injured.

September 14, 1917

At a recent meeting of the Board of County Commissioners it was ordered that the county purchase from E.L. Beck of Silver Dyke mines, six steel Troy 5-ton dump wagons for the sum of $2,250 f.o.b. Reno. The Wagons arrived at Minden Wednesday …
