Antique tractor show opens in Gardnerville

The Northern Nevada Antique Power Club's 17th annual Antique Tractor Show is under way south of Gardnerville. The show will continue through Sunday.

Close to 200 antique tractors and engines are on display ranging from the early 1900s to 1960s.

There will also be a swap meet for people to sell or trade spare parts, engines or tractors, a tractor parade, raffle and tractor pull.

The show is spread out over 10 acres of land on East Valley Road in south Gardnerville. A shuttle service is available to take visitors from the parking lot to various events around the property. This is the show's third year at this location.

The show got its start in 1995, and continues to attract more than 1,000 tractor enthusiasts each year.

The Antique Tractor Show is located at 1000 East Valley Road, off Pinenut Road in Gardnerville. Times are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $5 which includes a $2 coupon for merchandise. Children under 12 are free.
