Identities of victims in Highway 50 accident to be released Wednesday

The identity of four people were killed this morning in a head-on crash on Highway 50 east of Dayton won't be released until Wednesday morning.

All three occupants of a GMC Crew Cab pickup towing a scissor lift were killed in the accident that occurred at 9 a.m. when an oncoming 1989 Dodge pickup pulling eight yearling cattle appeared to start fishtailing and veered into the oncoming lane, witnesses told Nevada Highway Patrol investigators. A passenger in the Dodge also died in the accident.
