Rocks wet from Saturday's rain storms resulted in two injuries that required responses from the Mono County Sheriff's Search & Rescue Team.Rescuers helped an injured 58-year-old woman who was hiking on a rock slope above 11,000 feet near Hilton Lakes on Sunday. The off-duty nurse slipped and fell down, sustaining an ankle injury. Unable to descend down the terrain, her friend made camp for her and then hiked to Rock Creek Pack Station to call 911 for help.Sixteen rescuers staged at the pack station and determined they could carry the woman out safely.
