Antiques show and sale in Genoa

The bi-annual Genoa antiques show and sale with appraisal clinic is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the White House Bed and Breakfast.

The show will offer an array of antiques and collectibles from shabby chic and folk art to bronzes and fine art.

"What a perfect location for an antiques show. The meticulously kept grounds lends itself perfectly to an outdoor, indoor show," organizer Martha Williams said. "Stroll around the grounds to shop for antiques from the friendly vendors from California and Nevada."

The charge for the appraisal clinic is $7 per item with no limit. Large items can be appraised from good photos.

Tom Bartels from the Antiques Roadshow is available to appraise clocks and watches.

Two dollars from every appraisal will be donated to the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra.

The White House Bed and Breakfast is located at 2274 Genoa Lane, next to the Pink House.

Admission to the show is free.
