CJ Keith on UFC card Friday

Douglas High grad C.J. Keith, 25, debuts in the Ultimate Fighting Championship octagon Friday against 24-year-old Ramsey Nijem in Atlantic City, N.J.

The fight will air on Fuel TV at 3 p.m. It is an undercard bout to the UFC on FX matchup between Gray Maynard and Clay Guida.

Bully's Sports Bar & Grill in Carson City and all Bully's restaurants in the area will be showing the fight.

It will also be broadcast on YouTube and Facebook.

Keith (6-0, 155 pounds) has an 8-0-0 professional record in mixed martial arts.

He has trained at The Warriors Cage in Porterville, Calif.

At Douglas High, Keith qualified for state in wrestling three times and was a part of the Tigers' regional championship team in 2002.

He's won his last three fights by knockout or technical knockout.
