Tickets available for 'Holka Polka'

Tickets are on sale for Carson Valley Community Theatre's production of "Holka Polka" opening July 13.

Written by D.M. Larson, "Holka Polka" is a children's play about the nicest witch in Fairytale Land who embarks on a journey to save all witches' reputations by saving the prince. Along the way she meets some familiar and misunderstood fairytale characters, and also discovers that an historically sweet and loving character is really evil. The play is directed by Gardnerville resident Riley Cooper.

"Holka Polka" opens July 13 in the CVIC Hall in Minden and continues weekends through July 22. Show times are 6:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays with 2 p.m. Sunday matinees. Tickets are available at The CVCT box office is open noon-5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturdays starting June 25.
