The University of Nevada, Reno, spring commencement ceremonies will take place on Friday for advanced-degree recipients and Saturday for bachelor-degree recipients. Both ceremonies will be held on the University's historic Quadrangle, located on the southern part of campus.The procession for advanced degrees begins at 4:45 p.m. The approximately one-hour-long ceremony includes a presentation of the Distinguished Nevadan awards.The bachelor's-degree ceremony begins at 8:15 a.m. Students and faculty leaders will assemble for Commencement at 8 a.m. University President Marc Johnson will welcome attendees.
