Fire forces Carson Valley family from home

A North Carson Valley family or four were forced from their home when a vehicle fire ignited the garage on Saturday evening.Firefighters responded to the blaze at 1162 Agua Caliente at 7:11 p.m. Witnesses said the flames were coming out of the home's garage when firefighters arrived.East Fork Deputy Fire Chief Dave Fogerson said the resident was working on his vehicle when it caught fire. He went to find an extinguisher, but it was the fire spread to the garage.Fogerson said fire damage to the home itself was limited to one room. However the rest of the home had smoke …
