Workshop on fire damaged trees is Monday

Landowners whose landscapes may have been damaged by wildfires may find their trees are more susceptible to attacks from bark beetles, which can further weaken the trees or even kill them.To find out which of your trees may be in danger of an attack, attend a two-hour workshop 9-11 a.m. Monday at University of Nevada Cooperative Extension offices in Gardnerville via interactive video. The Extension is located at 1329 Waterloo Lane.The workshop will be presented by Gail Durham, a Nevada Division of Forestry Forest Health specialist.
