City National Bank, Arts Council financially support Western artists

City National Bank has partnered with the Carson Valley Arts Council to provide financial support for four artists who will be exhibiting their works in the Western art show at this year's Genoa Cowboy Poetry and Music Festival running Thursday through Sunday.

"As the newly-proclaimed local arts agency for Douglas County," Executive Director Steve Farnsley said, "it is the Carson Valley Arts Council's goal to promote a community united and inspired by the arts by creating partnerships with individual artists, arts organizations, and businesses that understand the cultural and economic value of the arts in their communities."

City National Bank's contribution is joined by contributions authorized by the Carson Valley Arts Council board of directors as well as individual contributions by board president Brian Fitzgerald and board member Delores Zukosi. Art works by these four artists and others will be on exhibit at the Pink House during the third annual Genoa Cowboy Festival.
