A 30-year-old Genoa man was released Friday from Douglas County Jail, three days after he was arrested for stealing a $1 Twix King candy bar from Walmart.Joshua Donal Parker pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft.He was arrested Tuesday after store personnel observed him take a candy bar from the shelf, eat it, leave the wrapper in a shopping cart, and exit the store without paying.
