Judge lowers bail in weapons case

Bail was reduced to $10,000 Monday for Robert Austin Fordin, 19, accused of convincing two juveniles to steal a weapon from a rival gang member.Robert Austin Fordin, 19, was being held on $50,000 bail on a charge or principal to grand larceny of a firearm in connection with the incident which allegedly occurred one year ago.He has been in Douglas County Jail since he violated terms of pre-sentence release in February.District Judge Michael Gibbons lowered Fordin's bail to $10,000 bondable and continued his arraignment until April 23.Attorney Tod Young requested the lower bail, and said he wasn't sure his client …
