Poetry Out Loud competition today in Reno

Douglas High student Jordan Sullivan will be participating in the Poetry Out Loud competition in Reno today.

Thirteen young people with a heart for poetry will put their talents to the test after months of hard work and preparation in the national poetry recitation competition known as Poetry Out Loud. Student artists from 13 Nevada counties will join Gailmarie Pahmeier, UNR poet and instructor of creative writing and contemporary literature, in reciting great works.
