Authorities offer reward to help find missing girl

A $250 reward is being offered for information leading to the location of a Gardnerville girl who is suspected of running away from her aunt's home.

Tonya Delarosa Fred, 16, has been missing since August 2011, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

She is believed to be in the Reno-Sparks area, Hungry Valley, or Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation northeast of town.

She is described as American Indian, 5-feet, 2-inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with a thin build, brown eyes, straight brown hair, a mole on each cheek and a facial piercing below her lower lip.

Douglas County Secret Witness is offering the reward for information leading to the location and successful recovery.
