Cooler temps on the way

While not much in the way of precipitation is forecast for Monday, there will definitely be a change in the mild weather Carson Valley has enjoyed over the past few weeks.

Colder temperatures and unsettled weather will continue through next week as a low pressure system moves south along the Sierra on Monday.

Forecasters are predicting that weaker low pressure systems will be moving across the northern Great Basin on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures.

High temperatures are expected to drop into the 40s through Thursday with lows in the teens and 20s.
