Valley Christian Fellowship offers new Sunday resolution

By mid-February most New Year's resolutions have been broken, so Valley Christian Fellowship is offering the community a fresh start.

The church is inviting residents to join their congregation during a 10 a.m. service this Sunday.

"Real hope for change and a new life is not found in our will power but in a person, the Lord Jesus Christ," Senior Pastor Leo Kruger said. "Valley Christian Fellowship is a nondenominational, Spirit-filled and Spirit-led church that believes the gifts of the Holy Spirit are alive and operating today."

Leaders in the church include Rob Simpson, associate pastor; Russ Davidson, elder; and Deacons Joe Doherty, Dave Swart and Dennis Watterson.

A midweek service is 6:45 p.m. Wednesdays following group prayer at 6 p.m. Children's ministry is available for nursery through eighth-grade using age appropriate, hands-on curricula to teach the Bible. Classes are available during service times after praise and worship on Sunday morning and during prayer on Wednesday night.

"Our goal is to find where God is moving, go where He's going, move with Him, and go where He leads," Kruger said. "Come and discover what a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can do for you and the ones you love."

Valley Christian Fellowship is located at 811 Short Court, next to the Gardnerville Ranchos Pizza Factory.
