A 26-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man was arrested on a fugitive warrant out of Ventura County, Calif., after deputies responded to a report of a battery.

Richard Greene III was taken into custody after he allegedly slugged another man while roughhousing. The man didn't press charges, but a background check revealed the warrant on drug- related charges.

Ventura County has until Jan. 3 to come get Greene.
