The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department continues the Family Summer Concert Series with American roots musician Shane Dwight, 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight in Minden Park.

Bring a low-backed chair or blanket and relax under the stars at Minden Park. Food will be available to purchase by the Lion's Club.

Singer-songwriter Dwight performs blues, rock 'n' roll, alternative country and American roots music.

Tonight's concert is sponsored by GE Energy and Carson Valley Inn and co-sponsored by Tahoe Creamery.

The next concert in the park is Rick Hays & American Steel on July 17, followed by the Savannah Blue Southern Rock Revue on Aug. 7 and Caravanserai on Aug. 28.
