Use Lego materials to create an original work of art at the Summer Reading Lego Building Challenge at the Douglas County Public Library. Bring creations to the Minden or Zephyr Cove libraries between July 1 and July 18 and fill out an entry form.
Winners announced July 22 and will be displayed through July 31. Lego prizes awarded to first- and second-place winners in each age group category. Children and adults may participate. Children 2 to 3 years old must use Lego Duplo bricks.
The Lego Challenge is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Library. Information at the libraries, 1625 Library Lane in Minden and 233 Warrior Way in Zephyr Cove, douglas.lib.nv.us or 782-9841.
