Carson Valley Inn entertainment
The Red Hot Smokin' Aces continue in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, the Gardners entertain on Monday and M8trix plays June 16-21.
The Red Hot Smokin' Aces play country and oldies to pop chart hits — from Gretchen Wilson to Stevie Wonder and Merle Haggard to Roy Orbison. The heart of band is father/daughter Jeffrey and Ileia who collectively have toured the Northwest for more than 40 years.
M8trix performs the best of '70s, '80s, '90s, Motown, R&B, pop and jazz, Latin and disco. The band is led by vocalist Stephanya and features David Council on guitar, Eric ‘EQ' Young on bass, drummer Adam Lipsky and James ‘Jimi' McKinney on keyboards.

The AM/FM Reno band plays 9 p.m. tonight. The Carson City-based band plays classic rock and oldies to modern alternative.
