Registration begins Monday at Western Nevada College

Spring registration is under way for classes beginning Jan. 20 at Western Nevada College. Online registration for continuing students is available with general registration beginning Monday.

The Douglas campus offers dozens of entry-level classes to jump start a career, including bookkeeping, biology classes that are a requirement for many four-year degrees, and courses in English, mathematics and psychology.

Other classes, many of which are scheduled in afternoons and evenings for working students, include criminal justice, economics, philosophy and political science.

The Douglas campus also has continuing education classes such as Shotokan karate, personal computing and senior computing for older adults.

Search the spring schedule and register at www.wnc.edu. Printed class schedules are mailed to area homes and are available on campus, 1680 Bently Parkway, Minden. Information, 782-2413.
