The Bridal Extravaganza that showcases Genoa as a popular wedding destination is Oct. 12. The event is compliments of Destination Genoa in the Orchard House with wedding coordinators, invitation specialists and photographers on hand to discuss wedding wishes and plans.

The event starts at 11 a.m. to register for the passport hunt at the Tahoe Ridge Winery, Genoa Lakes Golf Club and Resort, David Walley’s Resort, Genoa House Inn, Genoa church and the Genoa Town Hall.

Sample food, wedding cake, Genoa Coffee and champagne. Participants will have the chance to enter a raffle for the grand prize of $2,500.

Cake and champagne will be served around 1:30 p.m. in the Orchard House.

Businesses attending the event are The Entertainer, Genoa Floral Creations, Digital Photo Girl, The Event Connection, Borges Carriage Rides, The Write Stuff and Sugar Plum Bakery and Treats.
