Poker run to benefit Austin's House on Sunday

Bring your motorcycle, hot rod or daily ride to the second annual Austin’s House Poker Run to benefit the Austin’s House Carson Valley Children’s Center on sunday

The ride begins at Century 21 Clark Properties in Minden, continues through Genoa, Markleeville, Topaz and finishes at Heritage Park in Gardnerville where the Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club will host a barbecue.

Registration is 10 a.m. Sunday at Century 21 Clark Properties, 1674 Highway 395. The $25 admission buys an entry ticket, a commemorative Austin’s House second annual ride pin, a pink bandana in memory of Austin, raffle ticket, poker run ticket and barbecue. Maps of the route available at sign-up.

Prizes awarded for best poker hand. Live music by Dean Brownell of Blue Fingers Productions.
