Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joshua Rodgers in January 2007 the night he was deployed to the Middle East from Fort Bragg, N.C. He is embracing his daughter Autumn, 3, as 2-year-old Ashlyn looks up. Rodgers was killed four months later when his helicopter was shot down over Afghanistan.
