About 300 people wandered through the Carson Valley Inn's Shannon Ballroom at the Douglas County Senior Center's ninth annual senior fair on Wednesday, and wandered out with goodie bags filled with samples and information from the 40 businesses that attended.

"We were filled with 43 vendors and had more on the waiting list," said Douglas County Senior Center Director Warren Bottino. "We had a pretty good representation of programs. The fashion show was really popular."

The fair had information on eye glasses to wheelchairs, residential care to advice on reverse mortgage loans. Health care providers were on hand with information about hearing aids, dermatology, chiropractic care and diabetes.

For more information on Douglas County senior programs, call the senior center at 783-6455.
