Christian center takes donations for fire victims

Carson Valley Christian is accepting donations for victims of the Angora Fire in South Lake Tahoe.

Donations may be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily at the church, 1095 Stephanie Way, one half-mile east of Highway 395, in the Johnson Lane area.

Suggested donations include trail mix and pocket-sized snacks particularly for firefighters, children’s Tylenol, disposable gloves, blankets, pillows, clothing, deodorant and bottled water.

The church will accept items in the CVC lobby all week, and in the Growth Center during weekend services.

Items will be delivered mornings and evenings daily to the Tahoe locations of greatest need.

For information, call the church at 267-0151.
