The Martial Arts Expo II, a benefit for the Family Support Council of Douglas County, will take place 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Pinenut Road in Gardnerville. Competitor check-in time is at noon, with a referee meeting at 12:15 p.m.
This family event is an opportunity for local students of the martial arts to get together for a friendly competition and learning experience. The public is invited.
Competitions for ages 7 through adult will be held. The cost will be $5 per person.
