The Valhalla Society in Gardnerville will give a masquerade February 22. Costumes can be secured from Cagwin & Noteware at Carson and a supply will be on hand that night at Geo. J. Brown's in Gardnerville.

Volunteers may train to be Nevada State Museum tour guides
Nevada State Museum is offering training Jan. 10, 11, 17, and 18 for those interested in becoming a museum tour guide. Training runs from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day. Volunteers must be at least age 15.
